Fairy - yes! I put on some under bump skinny jeans on Friday night to go for dinner and they were so uncomfy - won't be wearing them again. I bought them when I was 11 weeks pregnant and hopes they would last me all the way, but just get lower hmm clearly not.

Just had my 20 week scan. All looks good. They didn't mention anything about placentas or any problems so I'm assuming that's a good thing! Just have to go back for a diabetes test due to family history.
Didn't find out what we are having so no going back now!

Welcome to team yellow, HMT13!

HMT13 Mon 01-Jul-13 18:08:27

thanks heartonsleeve
So glad everything looked ok, get myself all worked up before a scan!

LuckySocks13 Mon 01-Jul-13 19:21:56

Glad to hear happy scan news smile I have mine on Friday. I've also been feeling sick and dizzy last few days with lots of dry heaving thrown in for measure! Very odd! I'm struggling with the clothes situation and bras are so uncomfortable! I have ordered a Bravado bra to try as can use now and when feeding. So hoping it is comfy and fits well! trots off to get rid of current bra which is digging in

HMT13 Mon 01-Jul-13 20:03:46

I'm the same with bras! Bought 2 non wired ones from m&s to try and keep me going for a while.
got the dizziness too. The midwife said my BP was a little low so to stand up slowly!

Wibblypiglikesbananas Mon 01-Jul-13 20:16:14

Hi again, just to say that the Bravado seamless silk bras are great, I had them last time round and have three new ones waiting for this time. I actually left my NCT fitter's house wearing one last time, and she was very scathing about the way I'd been fitted at M&S, so I'd definitely recommend both the bras and a specialised fitter.

I've had had to go braless the last couple of days til I can go shopping - it's not ideal smile but my bras were killing me after about half an hour - for me it's not the cups it's the width digging into my belly and cutting off my lungs - or at least that's what it feels like!

Can't remember who asked about double pushchairs but we were lucky to find a 2nd hand Phil and Ted sport really cheap and I must admit its pretty great. Obviously am yet to try it out with 2 kids, but I like it so far using it for one!

getoffthecoffeetable Tue 02-Jul-13 06:51:04

We've got the adaptor to make our Phil and Ted's a double.
Lots of people are getting the icandy I think.
My belly feels huge!
Have got another scan today, excited to see our little boy again!

Babybump26 Tue 02-Jul-13 15:44:19

I can feel baby bump moving!!! grin There's been the odd occasion before but I've not been 100% (due to being full of wind - sorry TMI!!!) but this is definitely it! Just had to share as I'm so excited!

Wibblypiglikesbananas Tue 02-Jul-13 19:16:02

mummypanda - it was me, so thanks for the recommendation. Someone has also recommended the Joovy Caboose to me, think that's the correct spelling?

I've just ordered some new baby books for my DD so she can get used to the idea of having a little brother around. It all seems like it's getting pretty close now!

Wibblypiglikesbananas Tue 02-Jul-13 19:16:38

MummaPanda - sorry!

HMT13 Tue 02-Jul-13 20:24:42

Aw that's great babybump26! Mine is moving a lot more this week so finally telling myself it has to be the baby now!

Babybump26 Tue 02-Jul-13 20:50:46

HTM13 - it's really hard to tell some times. This is my first so didn't have a clue what to expect, but it was quite a strong feeling that happened a few times. We've got our second scan on Thursday so will be lovely to see baby again smile x

My first too. It's so hard to know what's the baby and what's not! Good luck for your scan. Mine was yesterday. Was lovely grin

Babybump26 Tue 02-Jul-13 21:36:10

Fab for both of you! Hopefully I'll be able to match up some movements to the feelings grin

Good luck to you both also x

Hi all,

Sorry not been around for ages, works been über busy.

Had my scan on Monday and I'm having a girl, who I fear is going to take after her mum as she was very stubborn and didn't want the sonographer to take measurements of her face.

The jelly beans had a growth spurt so my new edd is Halloween.

Fairydogmother Wed 03-Jul-13 10:12:51

fab news dizzy - we need more girls to balance out all these boys!

i'm getting a lot of movement these last few days and i can see my belly wobbling at times. v exciting! tho its prob wobbling more from all the rolo biscuits i've been eating blush

i havent a clue whos on the FB group and whos not so i'll post things twice in case i miss people! nursery furniture arrives today! feels like months since i ordered it. we cant build it yet as the room is only half cleared and i want to shampoo the carpet first but does feel like we're finally getting closer to seeing our boy!

the pram will HAVE to be picked up this weekend - i just cant wait any longer grin

CornishFirstTimer22 Wed 03-Jul-13 14:23:55

What is the name of the Facebook group Fairy? Would be interesting to see!

I just ordered my first maternity jeans, I've managed to get away with my usual up until 22/23 weeks so pretty pleased - though I am looking forward to having a more pronounced bump haha!

Odd random kicks here too, though my placenta is anterior high so that might be cushioning them a bit!

Hope everyone's well, time seems to have slowed down so much since the 20 week scan!!

Fairydogmother Wed 03-Jul-13 14:44:56

wowee you did fab with the jeans cornish! i'm wearing normal jeans with a bumpband today and not liking it so much

heck i've no idea how we did the fb thing - can someone else help?! its private so nobody can snoop but you can def get added

<shouts to someone more technically minded lol>

time for a new thread too ladies!

MotherOfCleo Wed 03-Jul-13 15:13:36

I second the well done re the jeans! My skinny jeans still fit but anything under bump is uncomfy as my bump is stupidly low. Even the maternity under bump trousers I bought are uncomfy, especially when sitting at my desk.

MummaPanda Wed 03-Jul-13 16:29:37

Time for a new thread??

MummaPanda Wed 03-Jul-13 16:35:28

END!! Migrate to the new thread ladies!!
