Yes, only Jordan has pink cars

I went in to a fiat showroom last week to look at the 500's, they are too small for me, but the salesman said, 'oh we have a pink one in stock' i was like 'thats nice for you'

But each to their own

I already have a white Fiat 500, although not a convertible one. I love it. It is such a fab car. DH likes it too, although I don't let him drive it that often, lol!

The pink one is a special edition I think. Only recently out.

I am definitely trading in for a convertible within the next year.

They are not that small. Boot fits in a weekly shop and all my school junk. Can fit two car seats in back easily. DH is 6'1" and can drive it no problem, and 7y DD can be sat behind him on a booster chair with sufficient leg room. But couldn't be the main car I agree.

I really want a Fiat 500, in cream with red leather upholstery with cream piping. I want to hop into a tiny car and pootle around. It's not possible to 'pootle' in a diesel estate, which is what I have.

i do think they are smart little cars though, very chic, but not in pink

Oh no, pink is not chic. But it does look quite cute in the pictures

bran - me neither. no pootling in hoofing great volvo.

I would honestly get one, but what worries me is someone coming into the back of me, as some moron in a white van once did. They are so small that surely we'd be toast? (sorry hula )

I am used to small cars, so that doesn't bother me. TBH if you worry about that then all we'd ever drive are big hulking 4x4s or great long estates.

I love little girls. The Fiat is bigger than my little two seater Smart was

The Fiat is fab for city driving. Has a city function to make the steering very very light, great for tight reverse parking. It is fine on motorways too TBH. The faster version definitely would be!

Our other car is a Golf R32 so we tend to use that for most longer journeys, as much faster and more power. Also bigger.

"I love little girls." eh????

That should say "I love little card" lol.

I a also writing a report on some children I work with at school, and writing about the interaction and social skills of one little girl with the other children!!!

Hulababy, if you get the pink convertible fiat 500, I can only imagine you look like this.

If this is not you then don't. Unless you want people to point and laugh.

I can think of sooo many other better cars you can spend £13,500 on!

Yeuch! Ew, ew, ew, ew... It's like a car for Baby Born.

The Golf R32, however, now you're talking...

I had a yellow car once and I felt a complete prick driving round in it. God knows how much a fool i would feel in a pink car.

I like the little Fiats but in white only.

Hulababy · 16/03/2010 14:51

Ah, I won't really get one in pink, lol. Dh would veto it!

But I do want to trade in my white one for a white convertible one.

Oh I love Golfs... I had about four GTIs before I disappeared up my exhaust pipe and moved onto an Alfa (lovely but not all that reliable) and then to my lovely little Merc - which I've had from new but is now 8 years old.

I did have an A3 too (which I would also recommend) as my "sensible" car but I wrote that off in January

I quite like those little Fiats, if I'm honest, but was horrified by the idea of a pink one. Can absolutely see why you'd want one for City driving (although I'd still prefer the Golf).

Hula - what size engine is yours? Is it the 1.2 or bigger? I've been looking on the web and found a lovely one but it is £££ and a 1.3, and the 1.2 might be a bit small engine wise?
