What has being a mother got to do with being sexy? and if in fact it is because it's an experience thing..... that is not a compliment!

What happened to the old classics... 'you look pretty/ beautiful' ??

angry

said by someone who is not a partner or any kind...

I thought it was just a porn term, so wouldn't expect it to be particularly complimentary anyway.

Mother I'd Like to F*ck - not a porm term

meltedchocolate Sun 21-Feb-10 22:18:18

PorN rather

2rebecca Sun 21-Feb-10 22:18:18

No idea what it means. Never heard it.

BigWeeHag Sun 21-Feb-10 22:18:54

I think it's awful. Objectifying. YANBU.

Givenchy Sun 21-Feb-10 22:19:10

Better than being referred to as an old scrag surely?

PeedOffWithNits Sun 21-Feb-10 22:20:10

MILF is a gross term and the fact that you can get clothes for KIDDIES with stuff written on like "I'm with the MILF" beggars belief

urgh horrid term - I find it very disrespectful.

meltedchocolate Sun 21-Feb-10 22:23:55

nickschick... how old is your son?

POWN - Please PLEASE tell me you cant get such a t-shirt..... that is disgusting!

jendaisy Sun 21-Feb-10 22:25:58

It is a complieent I guess - not perhaps the nicest one but it's something I have heard quite a lot (maybe that's because I am a younger mum and it's a yoof thing innit). I had one girl shout 'MILF!' at me as I was pushing my dd across a field at Glastonbury last year - that was a bit of a suprise as I would not expect to hear that from a girl, but I found it quite amusing!

PeedOffWithNits Sun 21-Feb-10 22:29:00

oh yes I am afraid so

chegirlshadabloodynuff Sun 21-Feb-10 22:30:10

I hate the term.

My DS's birth mother set up a myspace account. She actually set up two. One was the usual soft porn, look at me, terrible grammer and text speak crap BUT it had a link to another one 'dedicated' to her DCs. She has a DD and my DS (who has been with us since he was 8 weeks old due to neglect).

She set up the second myspace in celebration of her motherhood hmm. She listed the children's names in full and included some revealing photos of herself - topless, tongue out etc and some graphics for the children - playboy bunny for her 2year old DD and gansta style tigger for my DS.

And to top it all off, a huge banner headline *MILF got two kids and STILL got it going on!*

Oh how I enjoyed stumbling across THAT on the net. The joy of imagining my DS finding it (or his friends) in a few years time.

She is such a skank.

Yes, I am a young mum too.. and it was from someone younger than me. I told him why I did not appreciate it and why it was inappropriate. He did apologise to be fair but I am still not best pleased.

RedbinDippers Sun 21-Feb-10 22:32:23

Not as bad as MIWLF

Of course its a porn term. It was invented by the porn industry! Why would you not think it is a porn term - where did it come from otherwise???

AnyFucker Sun 21-Feb-10 22:35:13

no, it is not a complimentary term

what next ?

GILF ??

fucking awful, and a misogynistic term if ever I heard one

it's like saying you are a mother, but I would fuck you anyway

is there a male equivalent ?

NonnoMum Sun 21-Feb-10 22:39:05
