oh well....
since about April I've had at various different times pink, turquoise and currently purple streaks in my hair... quite chunky streaks too.

I think it looks good, as do most people I know.

Horses for courses and all that.

oh i think thats a bit bitchy! so what if shes not physically attractive? she wanted red hair so she got red hair. stop being so horrible!

ImSoNotTelling Tue 10-Nov-09 21:09:47

Sometimes you just need to do the things you've always wanted to do but never have. At least hair is a temporary thing. Leave her be smile

ImSoNotTelling Tue 10-Nov-09 21:10:48

Maybe she has been watching david and carrie's pop shop too much.

and if i hadnt just got into the police i was going to have bright red streaks but into mine....im 37. i go to the mark hill salon, and it was my stylist who suggested it. im a bit sad that i cant do anything to radical with mine now!

(and im even sadder that i cant tell the difference between 'too' and 'to'! grin

It wouldn't suit me but I think Jonathan Ross' wife Jane Goldman has fab hair, and she looks really attractive IMO.

people should chose what they like, without acerbic comments from folk like you

Sagacious Tue 10-Nov-09 21:21:32

God I long nay yearn for crayon red hair

I'm not brave enough though blush

jaquelinehyde Tue 10-Nov-09 21:22:44

God I'm glad I'm not your friend!

chegirl Tue 10-Nov-09 21:23:42

I have done it loads of times because i think its purty.

Not bothered what other people think TBH. Maybe its because we reach a certain age we think 'feck it, I want blue hair!'

I am a bit boring now but I may have a look in the bathroom to see if I have any of that pink left........

scottishmummy Tue 10-Nov-09 21:24:20

i think jane goldman looks striking
also love viv westwood

AnyFuleKno Tue 10-Nov-09 21:25:27

You sound like a real treat 'a friend....not physically attractive....10 times worse'. Cop on to yourself.

mummyofevilprincesses Tue 10-Nov-09 21:32:05

I'm glad I'm not your friend, you sound really mean and two-faced. I wonder how you would feel if she described you in a similar tone.

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa Tue 10-Nov-09 21:32:51

Gosh, you miserable moo.

I'm 36, not very attractive, and was driving along today, musing about how much I would like blue, green or purple hair.

I recently had bright red hair and loved it. I would love pink hair.

DD1 would be mortified though grin

Well, she's not likely to change it if her "friends" are telling her it looks great, is she? hmm.

scottishmummy Tue 10-Nov-09 21:41:20

hse dyed her hair so what?not like she packed in job to strain organic cheese in a commune

you all need to unclench

sweetnitanitro Tue 10-Nov-09 21:42:59

hmm YABU. I wouldn't want bright red hair but I see no reason why I should disapprove of anyone that does. Maybe your friend really loves her new hair and doesn't give a hoot what anyone else thinks.

GhoulsAreLoud Tue 10-Nov-09 21:44:43

Just out of interest mollyfolly, how attractive are you?

Old ladies have purple rinses - I really think it looks silly but they like it, it makes them happy smile

TBH I think it's just a stage they go through

scottishmummy Tue 10-Nov-09 21:47:03

if she is happy,so what.you paint an ugly image of sniggering duplicitous mates
