But big burly rugby players can at least wear pink knowing that no-one (sane) is going to make jokes about it...

I went to a college whose colours were pink - generally pale pink. we had hockey players and rowers in pretty pale pink. I think they looked marvellous. The rugby players were less secure. They had navy with a bit of a pink stripe. wusses.

pink's in for men atm, isn't it?

I think it is actually them feeling the need to assert their masculinity by saying hey, we are so macho we can wear pink because you wouldn't dare call us effeminate.

Or maybe they just like pink!

I liked the cricket team who played in pink for a breast cancer fundraiser

grin I can forgive the pink but why are they so baggy?

My hockey team ( mixed) wear bright pink. The boys love it, on of them suggested it. the teen boys want their Ts super skinny tho.

They are 'drag pants' hat. Used in training to slow you down so that you have to train harder. I just thought it took looking silly to new levels really.

hatwoman Sun 18-Oct-09 21:33:07

well you learn something new everyday. If someone had asked me yesterday what "drag pants" were I would have given a somewhat different answer (though they might have been the same colour...)
