Advanced search know, in advance, that the left over banoffie pie that is in the fridge will be eaten by me for breakfast, no matter how much self control I think I have?!

I made one for after dinner tonight and my sub-consious has allready earmarked the left overs for tomorrow morning! Is it just me? Or do you do the same?

redsofas Thu 15-Oct-09 22:40:19

i would do the same although i may not last until the next morning grin

mawbroon Thu 15-Oct-09 22:40:27

Eat it before you go to bed, and then you won't have the breakfast problem. grin

BoysAreLikeDogs Thu 15-Oct-09 22:40:57

Put it in your tummy the bin

TheHeadlessWombat Thu 15-Oct-09 22:41:45

You have more self control than I have if you can hold off until breakfast.

moondog Thu 15-Oct-09 22:42:01

Don't.You will be full of self loathing afterwards.

TheFallenMadonna Thu 15-Oct-09 22:43:28

You know, I wouldn't be full of self-loathing...

moondog Thu 15-Oct-09 22:44:02

Oh well, go ahead then....

TheFallenMadonna Thu 15-Oct-09 22:46:04

I'm not the OP. No banoffee pie in my fridge sadly sad

TheFallenMadonna Thu 15-Oct-09 22:48:33

Actually, I wouldn't do it myself, because I'm not mad on sweet things for breakfast, but self-loathing moondog. That's interesting <strokes Freudian beard>

Mmmmm self-loathing vs banoffie???
If it wasnt so damnn easy and quick to make I would not be in this mess!!

Sweet stuff for breakfast? Yuk. It's not a calorie thing, would happily eat a cooked breakfast/ brunch on a weekend, just not into sugar first thing. Not that into sweet sickly stuff in general so don't get the eating sweet things = guilt thing as don't want to eat puddings often.

Tidey Thu 15-Oct-09 23:21:41

Mmmmm banoffee pie. Haven't made one of those in ages. Good idea for a weekend treat, ta very much smile

Ivykaty44 Thu 15-Oct-09 23:25:00

It sounds far better than having pizza or breakfast - when shall I pop round and will you save me some to save feeling so guilty smile

pjmama Thu 15-Oct-09 23:26:08

When I lived alone I would occasionally make myself a big trifle, with raspberries and swiss roll and custard and cream etc. Then I'd have a bowlful for breakfast every day until it had gone! Disgusting behaviour, but very yummy grin

I like your idea........share the guilt!

essanel Thu 15-Oct-09 23:32:55

omaoma Fri 16-Oct-09 22:10:10

oh, meant to say - you do know that desserts you make yourself are calorie-free, don't you? it's like organic chocolate

teamcullen Fri 16-Oct-09 22:25:22

mmmmm banoffee pie for breakfast.

Cant you class it as one of your 5 a day with the banana wink

I like aunt bessies cherry pie, there is only DD and me who like it so that means cut into 4 pieces, one each after tea, one for me for late night supper and a piece for breakfast grin
