because I lost the comb!

unfitmother Wed 14-Oct-09 18:48:19

That's terrible - the man's a loon!

FromGirders Wed 14-Oct-09 18:48:27

Good lord, what does it matter?

FlamingoBingo Wed 14-Oct-09 18:48:43

grin

You know you'll get told off for starting a thread about a thread!

TheHeadlessWombat Wed 14-Oct-09 18:49:12

This morning? YANBU. If it was in the evening it'd be quite acceptable however.

FlamingoBingo Wed 14-Oct-09 18:49:20

Oh, and YANBU - brushes are terribly, terribly bad for children's hair. Doesn't your DH know that???? shock

And angry on your behalf.

FromGirders Wed 14-Oct-09 18:49:21

Sorry, you were being facetious weren't you? Sorry, it's been a long day hmm!

diddl Wed 14-Oct-09 18:49:54

How do you comb with a brush?

bran Wed 14-Oct-09 18:51:50

There are so many threads about threads around at the moment I can't keep track.

I predict that in the near future all new threads will be a piss-take of a previous thread and Mumsnet will implode and disappear up its own arse in a viscious circle of self-reference. grin

BTW YABU to have a DS who needs combing - give him a buzz cut. wink

overmydeadbody Wed 14-Oct-09 18:54:07

In the morning?shock

That is terrible.

Jamieandhismagictorch Wed 14-Oct-09 18:54:44

That's fine, just don't let you MIL do it though. Stupid cow.

LolaAnn Wed 14-Oct-09 19:00:17

famishedass Wed 14-Oct-09 19:00:35

Morloth Wed 14-Oct-09 19:07:02

Crewcuts are the only way.

eyetunes Wed 14-Oct-09 19:09:09

But the brush has as many vitamins and minerals and goodness as the comb surely.

thatsnotmymonster Wed 14-Oct-09 19:16:27

I haven't even read the other thread but I can guess from the title how it's going!

My dh washed our 17mo dd in the bath with the sponge I use to clean the bathroom- nice huh? grin I rolled my eyes and let it go. Thank goodness she wasn't sick shock

cherrylips Wed 14-Oct-09 19:42:39

thatsnotmymoster - my husband does things like that!

FranklyIDontGiveAMam Wed 14-Oct-09 19:45:18

mine cleans the floor/sink/bath and throws the sponge away because it is too minging apparently! Good job we only clean such things once in a blue moon otherwise we'd be bankcrupt, - although, perhaps that is why they become minging enough to throw away!? hmm

Vivia Fri 23-Oct-09 19:00:32

Importantly, was DH brushing the hair because DS got some pizza in it? wink

tethersend Fri 23-Oct-09 19:18:07

Hmmm. Hard to say. Is ds breastfed?

2shoescreepingthroughblood Fri 23-Oct-09 19:19:42

TheProvincialLady Fri 23-Oct-09 19:21:55

boodeniites Fri 23-Oct-09 19:25:52

Twintummy Fri 23-Oct-09 19:36:26

Is it organic?
