apparently my Dh did this when small. now he watches formula 1 - the difference to me seems very slight.

I am so going to try this. Mine loves the hairdryer too, particularly if I "swish" her with my hair too. Of course, if she actually manages to grab a handful of my hair, it can get painful.

D'you reckon it's the white noise? Like in the womb with blood rushing around and stomach noises. That's the only thing I can think to link washing machine, hoover, and hairdryer.

My dd was resistant when a little baby. Around 8-10 months - I could get all the washing up done and the lunch made. Marvellous!
