I think I may have an inkling of the answer to this one!

no, not unreasonable if it's something she'd like, you can afford it and feel like treating her

Does it have to be pink?

colditz Wed 16-Sep-09 18:49:09

Not if she would like it - but why pink? Fire engines are red!

ooh will it be complete with firemen? <<oogling emoticon>>

Sorry that'd be for us wouldn't it?

Sounds like fun TBH

I just saw it and thought it looked fun and fab! Total extravagance. You can get a school pick up for 6 kids, hours drive around after school too!

Maybe would be better divorce gift for my friend!

do you have a link? that sounds like great fun

But that's not pink sad[disappointed emoticon]

pink one from different (slightly less appealing hire company!)

The only thing I would suggest is that you get the children picked up from your home rather than school. It is one thing for a child to not be invited to a party, but another to effectively have the party waved under their noses. Might make it difficult for your DD when picking 6 friends and then returning to school.

Was just going to post exactly what Tombliboobs (great name) said. My niece wasn't invited to a party that involved a Limo picking up at school - she and others were quite upset and all of the parents were shocked that another mum could be so insensitive and showey-offey.

Party booking would be from home (am sensitive honest), just astonished to see what a fun idea the school pick up was. Very true about those not invited though.

Am scaling down ideas though.

Do you think that the Gay Pink Wedding Taxi Co would take bookings for kids party, or is is more specialised than I would imagine!
