Too old for that hair now. Get it cut, Neil!

dogonpoints Tue 08-Sep-09 20:28:51

yeah, he really thinks he's it.

frogthistle Tue 08-Sep-09 20:29:14

Love his accent smile I can live with the hair...

southeastastra Tue 08-Sep-09 20:33:39

mmm look how lovely i am

kathyis6incheshigh Tue 08-Sep-09 20:37:06

I'd noticed the hair tossing before but never the simpering - it was only when I had the sound turned off I realised quite how bad it was. Must be because the accent normally distracts.
So glad you ladies agree with me smile

pmsl @ that pic SEA!
this is quite interesting about the sardines and the U boats though.

dogonpoints Tue 08-Sep-09 20:40:09

I think he has become more simpering the more well-known he has become

AnyFucker Tue 08-Sep-09 20:40:14

oooh, I love him

I have Coast on whilst I am MN-ing and his lovely Scots voice is very soothing in the background

frogthistle Tue 08-Sep-09 20:42:44

Aaah, he is on BBC Four in 'History of Scotland' at the same time. I thought I wasn't quite on the same wavelength on the simpering thing as it's more voiceover.

generalunrest Tue 08-Sep-09 20:43:17

Looks like it's just me who doens't like his accent, I love the scottish accent, but his just does my head in for some reason

kathyis6incheshigh Tue 08-Sep-09 20:45:22

he should do more radio!

MmeLindt Tue 08-Sep-09 20:52:38

ooooh, he is making me homesick.

I want an Arbroath Smokie noooooooooooooooooooooooowwww

I do find him annoying though.

BalloonSlayer Tue 08-Sep-09 20:55:27

If he would only get his hair cut...

<sighs>

Much better than that twat with the umbrella. You can imagine his agent saying "You need a gimmick mate."
