Even though he is cringe factor 10 and that fucking hair - he has just got that independence of mind and a slight twinkle in his eye...

I am BU aren't I?

dizzymare Mon 24-Aug-09 18:11:37

shock

There are no words!

Thunderduck Mon 24-Aug-09 18:12:45

YABVU. He has a mullet fgs!

ApplesinmyPocket Mon 24-Aug-09 18:17:45

I 'quite' fancy him too. Mainly because his independence of mind, as you say, his confidence, and his refusal to be bought by anyone (let's forget Noirin - a moment of madness) and his diary room cheek/irony are all quite attractive traits. I don't find him physically horrible either - if push came to shove, I'd certainly find him more shaggable than Funtime Charlie, who is supposed to be a sort of Mr Universe but whose sneer and whine makes him completely repulsive to me.

So YANBU in my, admittedly usually off-kilter, book.

Fight for him? Covered in baby oil?

I think I'd concede to you Apples wink I am, after all, a married woman!

I think it all started when I saw what an elegant dignified woman his mother was in the mummy task (and I guessed her straight away!). I realised then that his cringey David Brent persona was just him being ironic. I just sit back and enjoy it now and I've found myself strangely drawn...

muggglewump Mon 24-Aug-09 18:46:16

YABU, he is gross and that hair!

Siavash on the other hand, I so would.

hatesponge Mon 24-Aug-09 19:51:53

I actually find the constant swearing quite endearing!

curiositykilled Mon 24-Aug-09 19:59:06

I shall back up my earlier post with some reasons:

He'd always love himself more than you could ever love him... how attractive(!)

He models his 'look' on an X-men character... How old is he!?!?

undervalued Mon 24-Aug-09 20:54:16

I remember him saying to someone in an argument...'Don't speak to me like that, I'm 42 years old...' (???)
Anyhoo, I agree with the comment on his sense of irony, and this makes him an interesting character with an indepenent personality (A first for BB I think) but I could never forgive the mullet and sideburns - never mind the showering with a scourer..<<shudder>>
I suggest you remember the shower scene every time you have these thoughts - or picture him combing that hair. Oh God, I feel sick now...

ApplesinmyPocket Mon 24-Aug-09 21:04:41

His mother was elegant and dignified, you are right, Fairy! He comes from good stock, it's clear <warming up even more>

Let's see how the highlights go tonight before we finally commit...

SerendipitousHarlot Mon 24-Aug-09 21:37:24

I fancy him as well blush

He's lovely and hairy as well. And loads of tattoos. He reminds me of my dh. BUT NEWER grin

ApplesinmyPocket Mon 24-Aug-09 23:39:29

He was Mr Cool personified tonight.

Come on all you scoffers, if you had to pick one of that dire lot to be stranded on a desert island with, wouldnt it only be the Irrepressible Dark Horse who had a hope of building a canoe out of palm leaves and coconut shells and getting you rescued?

ApplesinmyPocket Mon 24-Aug-09 23:50:32

Though I've realised I fancy Siavash TOO.

Oh me! I'm such an Apple Tart blush

SerendipitousHarlot Tue 25-Aug-09 10:23:29

And did seeing Siavash in those lycra leggings have anything to do with that Apples wink

It's a whopper shock grin
