to think that Court buildings should provide free drinking water?!

I just wondered what people thought as I had to spend 10p per [small] plastic cup of still water at Stratford Family Proceedings Court which struck me as a bit off. The court is a a public building and whilst I am a "regular user" [sounds more interesting than it is!] grin and so could plead for a free glass of water from an usher, most punters would not know that there was that possibility....
Not the money but the principle really...

There was free water for the jurors when I did jury service at Winchester last year, and although you get a lunch allowance, I would have been a bit miffed if I'd had to use it on water. Mind you didn't drink too much in case of getting caught short in the courtroom! It can't cost that much to provide a water fountain?
