Twitter, I mean why do these 'slebs' think we need to know every bloody thing they do? Yes you Kutcher. And it's always great stuff, never; 7 a.m. tried to have a shit, can't. Damn constipation.

aaaargh. I could make a fortune flogging photos of me being a size 8 post 4 kids (all by C-section) if I was famous. It just happens sometimes. It's not exactly an achievment.

I am obviously just very very jealous

why is it "unnatural"??

Some women do just snap back into shape after giving birth and some end up smaller than before giving birth.

I was back in size 10 jeans a couple of days after giving birth and ended up much slimmer than I had been before.
No mad exercise routines, no odd diets, just my genetic make-up I guess.

I don't find it sickening, but slightly annoying that she has given birth twice and has a figure that I just about managed to have when I was a teenager. Still, she's married to Veron Kay and so I think I'm luckier than her despite being blobbier.

It does happen naturally though for some people. My neighbour had two about 18 months apart and went straight back to a flat tummy by the time I saw her (about 2 weeks after the birth). She definitely didn't have any unnatural interventions but she is naturally athletic and does lots of yoga and pilates.

its just luck
I have had three and always reverted back to that within three months of birth

Agree with stroppy. Some of us are just like that. I am not beautiful like Ms D but I am a size 8 after 3 kids and at 42. Its not clever, its genes.

I have had my children over a large time period (16 years) and I am astonished at the pressure put on new mums to look fantastic days after giving birth.

I notice that some mums seem to expect to look better after than they did before. Even if they were not that into clothes, make up etc pre baby - they seem to feel they should look like a sleb mum after.

How sad that women have found yet another stick to beat themselves with.

I snapped back into shape within 3 months. Was a size 8.

Its only now that I have a belly 3 years on.

I did too, my stomach went back down straight away. I did eat healthily through the pregnancies, partly because morning sickness meant I went off sweet things, and partly because of a history of gest. diabetes & big babies. And I've always been quite fit, so I think that helps.

But... I have now turned 35 and find I can't eat what I want all the time. But I suspect neither does Tess

Makes me angry that the daily mail say they're not surprised he's proud of her looking like that!

How wonderful to have your husband proud of you because you manage to have a flat stomach! FFS

Does that mean that men shouldn't be proud of their wives if they fail to snap back into shape so soon after having babies?

And where are her stretch marks?

Her weight doesn't bother me either way butt he write up does, mysogeny at PhD level.

tess herself has a job that has several million much younger woman vying for it, a likely limited shelf life and doesn't have much choice.

The daily mail article basically decries women who don't manage to get their figures back immediately; truth be told, what it should be decrying is a society that forces people to.

Some do, some however don't; ds4 is 16 months and I am just starting to lose it now (he's still bf). Hey ho.

think it is just as bad to be moaning about someone haveing a good figure after kids as it is to congratulate them.

garruntee there are bits Tess doesn't like, our bodies change after child birth it is never the same as before.

i would suspect airbrushing but that would be just mean of me - i reckon shes just lucky and has lots of nookie with the lovely mr v (who wouldnt?) and that must help. Ive had 2 and my belly went down straight away - i remember having an after the birth shower ad thinking jeez thats flat (sorry) - it is now a wobbly flat though if that makes sense.
