Wear them for an hour or so when ds's almost constant natter/silly noises/whining etc gets a bit too much or is it something I have to put up with for another 3 weeks?

I would invest in an ipod if i were you. You can hum away or sing to yourself when it all gets too much...!

Bio-ears are the most comfortable ones.

We're stuck in the house until Thursday, I think we're both climbing the walls. He's a lovely child but so noisey. He's almost constantly got something to say/mutter/whistle/sing/shout....... It's quite draining.

YANBU, it is times like that that I actually relish being deaf and wearing hearing aids as take them out or turn them off for a bit of peace and quite wink

Start listening to death metal. He'll probably quite enjoy it too.
