Popped in today and came out with
shoes for all my girls, a Janet Reger nightie for me and an ecopotty!

Could have come home with some Le Creuseut stoneware too - but I was very restrained. grin

So hit and miss in ours. Either loads of good stuff I cannot afford, or nowt!

fab result on shoes.

Will you testdrive the nightie tonightwink

TheCrackFox Sat 08-Aug-09 19:02:36

You do get some good bargains but I have to be in the mood for it.

NorthernLurker Sat 08-Aug-09 19:02:52

I just got a grobag for a tenner - happy days!

Yurtgirl Sat 08-Aug-09 19:03:26

I love tkmaxx too - what is an ecopotty? Northern

NorthernLurker Sat 08-Aug-09 19:06:22

It's made from bamboo and biodegradable resin so that when you're finished with it you can bury it in the garden and grow stuff hmm grin

The only problem at the moment is that dd3 won't have anything to do with it hmm

HolyGuacamole Sat 08-Aug-09 19:06:33

TKmaxx rocks - love it grin

Wilts Sat 08-Aug-09 19:09:13

Dh and one of my friends love TK Maxx. I hate it, it's like walking into a giant jumble sale in our local one grin

I just can't be doing with all the rummaging.

Glad you got some bargains grin

ninah Sat 08-Aug-09 19:12:23

Tacky Max's rocks yanbu

FlightHattendant Sat 08-Aug-09 19:14:00

Apart from my wobbly breadbin and buying my own hat, I am generally v excited about TK Maxx. smile

ninah Sat 08-Aug-09 19:14:52

buying your own hat? how did you manage that?

hatesponge Sat 08-Aug-09 19:17:03

Wilts - am with you on that, we have 2 near here, both of which are expensive jumble sales to me!

Am sure there are bargains to be had, I just dont have time to hunt for them grin

flatcapandpearls Sat 08-Aug-09 19:19:23

I love TK Maxx. I am going to buy some Le Creuseut stoneware next week.

I have bougt dd some lovely clothes from there as well/

GoldenSnitch Sat 08-Aug-09 19:21:31

TKMaxx opens in MK in a few weeks. I might go in and have a look before it becomes a rummage sale...

PixiNanny Sat 08-Aug-09 19:22:12

TKMaxx is amazing, I spend literally hours in that shop grin

Klaw Sat 08-Aug-09 19:22:32

YANBU

FlightHattendant Sat 08-Aug-09 19:22:55

Is the Le Creuset stone stuff any cop? I always wonder. Nigella breadbin wasn't very reduced, but still worth it.

Ninah - I ahd a thread about it a while ago smile I dropped it there one week then bought it the next, without realising it was the same one...grin

GoldenSnitch Sat 08-Aug-09 19:27:56

I got a load of Le Creuset stone stuff for my wedding. It's great.

bluebump Sat 08-Aug-09 19:30:07

I love TK Maxx but ours is on a retail park that has possibly the busiest car park and takes about half an hour to drive out of so I hardly ever go.

ninah Sat 08-Aug-09 19:30:17

ah crikey! I missed that one! grin

They now also sell handbags online. From cheap 'n cheerful to designer. And they haven't been kicked around like the ones in the store have.
