its my friends wedding tomorrow.
we have to be atthe church for 1.

Dp came down today and was asking me which shirt he should wear as he had got two, he then realises that he has left his suit at home!

its a 2 hour round trip. he just went to go get it but called to say that he'd end up falling asleep on the way back so he is going to go get it in the morning.

DP is known for alwasy being late. Is it very unfair that i don't trust him to get up, get ready go get the suit get back and get sorted in time??

me thinks not somehow

can't he go there now, sleep there, and come back in am. Set alarm for 8!!!! that way - an hour ignoring clock, an hour getting ready, and hour driving back -it's only 11am

His butt is out of bed at eight, or he will have to come on here and be flamed...and he's on thin ice, let me tell you

Hmmmmm failure to pack, whining about being sleepy (though bravo to him for not driving when knackered) and then presumed failure to get arse in gear in the morning - yes you're fully authorised to roast him over an open fire with an apple between his rosy cheeks when he finally deigns to show up. Of course that will be a week on Wednesday and he'll be wearing odd socks and brown shoes so you'll have plenty of time to get the fire nice and hot

I can't abide constantly late people. It gets so even if they're not late yet, you're tense because you're anticipating lateness.

Ring him at the crack of dawn and hiss threats down the phone in a Imparting The Fear of God sort of way.

Ach just go without him, he can meet you there - no-one will notice if he sneaks in.
Don't sweat the small stuff.

...unless you are depending on him for a lift? in which case HE SHOULD DIE!!!!!!

jesus wept an adult incapable of getting from A to B on time doesn't need early morning calls and threats. they need to take responsibility for their own actions. you shouldn't be running around chasing a late adult

look threats and MN.no biggie to him
either he had a compelling reason to attend or he doesn't

that compelling reason should of course be respect of his partner

is he on timne for things that suit him?
