I would post on his wall, 'ah that's where it all went then'.

what a bastard.

What a wanker

post on his wall that he is thieving little shit angry

I would phone him and ask if the goody bag he found was from your house, tell him the champagne is a present and invite him to return it quickly.

Don't start a FB sniping match. Nothing ever good comes of it.

Agree with CloudDragon and add "you robbing little shit*!

Send him a text starting "hi all, sorry for the mass text but..." and ask if anyone knows what happened to the bottle of champagne <<random friend>> bought for you as a gift.

SoupDragon Sun 02-Aug-09 20:03:48

Or, better still, the bottle of champagne you'd bought to give to <<his mother>> as a gift.

I wouldn't invite him back again. At all. And then if any one of your family asked I'd tell them it's because he's a thief and offensive. Because there's no arguing with the truth.

i would have loved to come to your party envy

as you were..

grin

Now - I'm not going to defend his actions in the slightest... but he might be just one of those really annoying people who get drunk and in so doing, are incredibly offensive (but think they're being funny) and just expect people to laugh it off and have the attitude - oh well, I was drunk. Shit happens.

Erm - not sure I should admit to this, but my DH is a bit like this - I think anyway. Absolutely hate it with a vengeance when he goes near alcohol. When he does, I can't stand him!! I think other people don't find him as annoying as I do though!

KIMItheThreadSlayer Sun 02-Aug-09 20:16:38

I was hoping this would not be you sad

I think you need to confront him, or set your mother on him grin

Sorry I did not make it to dance naked on your mothers gazeebo wink

Mmm - again sounds like my DH - just checking the diary - no, he was home last night - ah, and 41 not 21.... mind you, sounds like apart from him, you had a fab night!! What was the celebration?

He was funny, in an unexploded old WWII bomb at the bottom of the garden just underneath the kids' trampoline kind of way...I thought it was a matter of time before somebody tanned his arse though (and it was close to being Mamazon, I think) grin

Why does the pissing not surprise me?

BitOfFun Sun 02-Aug-09 20:30:57

And I was doing his accent better than he could do mine, I reckon grin

KIMItheThreadSlayer Sun 02-Aug-09 20:33:36

Can the little shit come piss round my garden please?

We have a fox that is marking its territory and I am trying to convince DP to pee in a bottle so I can mark ours and stop the fox grin
