Robert Pattinson?!!! I am shocked by own reaction...am normally a reasonable 38 year old. Is this a mid-life crisis situation?

I remember reading on here someone was totally obsessed with johnny depp's character in Pirates...and I just thought that was nuts...I am really surprised at how I'm reacting. Feel like I'm 17. Really upsetting thinking he would just think I look like his mum!

the beauty of fantasies is that you are thin and gorgeous and young forever

Also, you can fantasise that he prefers slightly older women. That's what works for me anyway!

No YANBU I think he is gorgeous.

I had a picture of him on the fridge but DP wrote 'CUNT' across his forehead. It did not affect my love for him though (RP not DP)

I love him too!!

I have to put to the back of my mind that I am 12yrs older than him... I don't care. It feels like the kind of crush I had on boys when I was at high school and it feels great.

I keep buying the trashest gossip magazines with him on the cover just to gaze at him. I might put a picture on the fridge. DH has told me I'm not allowed to put pictures on the bedroom wall!!

I find myself drooling over him when watching Twilight, especially the scene when he is in the restaurant with Bella - absolutely stunning!!

I cannot wait until Nov 20th, New Moon, Edward topless!!

No you aren't being unreasonable. He's loooovely.

I don't feel so bad though, think he's only 3 years younger than me so ner!

the age difference is not putting me off...which is a bit scary. He seems very mature and cool. The singing - swoon swoon...I just watched every other film he's ever been in.

OP have you just seen Twilight by any chance?! I was so ambivalent about him then watched the film Friday and felt embarrassed for myself at my reaction! He is very captivating in that film, though am sure that was the intention.

Report
8oreighty · 27/07/2009 15:12

yes, I heard about the film, just thought it's that young twit from harry potter...then saw the film, totally cynical for first 10 minutes, then turned to jelly. My dh did not get it at all.
