To think my baby isn't human

She's a cling on from the planet velco! No human baby has such a capacity for breastmilk or stamina for breastfeeding.

Reallytired's baby is angry for putting her down for a minute while going to toilet.

Hah, welcome to my world. DS is 12 weeks old and has already outgrown his size 3-6m bodysuits. In fact, he is curently latched on whilst I'm typing this (thank god for the iPhone!) and I'm desperate for the loo!

No wonder you're tired - I would like to say it gets better, hang in there hon... but my DS was the same and BF every 3 hrs (day & night) until he was 8 months - and I started weaning him at 4 months!!

Just make sure you get support so you can have a break. Even if you have to struggle to pump some milk for someone else to do the feeding on one of the feeds while you have a rest.

Take care of yourself.

My DD was the same - weaning was such a relief. The child still won't give up her morning and bedtime feeds at 14 months though - I've tried and failed! It does get easier, I promise.

I had one like that. I thank the lord that weaning was 'allowed' at 4 mths in those days. He could go for longer than half an hour between feeds then.

The only thing that put him to sleep for any length of time was going out and being driven or pushed around.

I won't last forever, honest. Having said that DS still needs to be feed regularly or he gets in a right grump and he was 9 this week!

I can empathise, I thought DD1 was bad... until suck on chest all day DD3 came along. Someone told me that your third baby is your hardest - they were right!
