Or when they spit up on their pristine outfit two seconds before you are due out the door, and running late!

Or when they smear tomato sauce all over their white t-shirt, never the red one!

if i ever need the children to wake,i always make a nice cupper and sit down for the first time in the day with a good book looking really relaxed, that does the trick saves me going upstairs to wake them wink

And cooking fresh spaghetti takes an hour and makes dinner an hour late hmm?

rupertsabear Tue 21-Jul-09 20:40:32

Feeding the baby then making spaghetti takes an hour.

nbee84... nice attitude hmm

Cooking fresh spaghetti doesn't take an hour... but feeding a baby whilst placating a hungry DS probably does!

The hmm was a question - just wondered why it would be an hour late? Asking a question doesn't mean I have attitude. Perhaps I used a wrong emoticon.

MissyBellatrix Tue 21-Jul-09 21:16:19

smile nbee84.
Most posters stick to a ? when asking an innocent question as the hmm emoticon is not so innocent (many a thread has exploded due to a well-placed single hmm!!!)

CTS, we take shortcuts for cooking pasta by boiling the water in the kettle first. It cuts the cooking time down to about ten minutes.
