from the hand of the obese woman offering it to an already plump toddler? Said biscuit not forming part of any sort of picnic but apparently being a casual refuelling exercise.

NBU to be saddened by this sort of thing but BU to intervene in the manner you suggest!

unreasonable

YANBU! Obviously I hope you didn't actually snatch it away but I do know where you're coming from.
Poor child doesn't have much hope to grow up into a healthy adult with normal BMI

I can see where you are coming from, but the child might have other reasons for being plump than eating badly, that may have been the child's only treat for a while.

I think you can guess from the size of both of them that he shouldn't be having the biscuit! YANBU

it could be something genetic, my friend has a big child but they both eat very healthily. you are probably right but it is a little judgy to assume thats what it is.

it could be something genetic but TBH it is rare and people use it as an excuse for over feeding themselves and their kids.

Im obese myself but i buggered if im letting my kids get like that, they eat well, have treats regularly and are happy and healthy.

The fact is the child is more likely to be chubby because her parents are and are uneducated about good food.
