I am rebelling because my dh does not care for me so I'm secretly smoking and drinking as a form of rebellion against him.

Well smoking and drinking is only damaging your health, so not really a V's up to him

Going on a shopping spree with his credit card would be more of a V's up to him. non?

You are harming your own body as a revenge against your husband?

That sounds a very strange form of revenge, if you don't mind my saying so.

Are you secretly a child bride? (Yes I know not generally a topic to joke about but this really sounds like a teenager to me!)

Can you get lung cancer from drinking cigs?

if it is secret then it's not really a rebellion.
wait til he gets home then pour a pint of bailies and light up. That'll show him.

I think rebellion is generally done by teenagers against their parents/ society or disaffected subjects of an unpopular ruler.
It's not really appropriate when speaking about 2 adults, is it?

baileys?
ffs get a bottle of JD and some gauloises and get rip-roaring arseholed
Baileys and eating some normal fags will have no effect at all (esp if you don't tell him)

If this is serious then PLEASE don't start smoking. It is fantastically addictive and will only bring you misery.

I smoked my first ever cigarette aged 20. I reasoned that, having made it so far, I would never get hooked. When I smoked my last, I was on 40 a day and paying £60 a week for the privilege.

I'm so upset because I told him my operation is on a day he's got a board meeting and he wanted to know exactly what time the op would be over so that his day wouldn't be messed up.

I said the nature of hospitals means it could be anytime and I was told by the hospital it would be all day.

I said shall I get my parents to cover? He said he couldn't careless.

I didn't really like the cigarette but I did like the fact he would be horrified.

Come on OP you need to tell us why you want to punish your dh by potentially harming your own self

What has he done to make you want to drink cigarettes?

(seriously, i am genuinely concerned)

I do this - the more DH gets upset with me smoking the more I smoke. NOt rationalised - just happens.

Quit now as pg

Enjoy coughing your guts up smoking your first packet of cigarettes .

May I suggest you change your Baileys to something more suitable, prehaps white lightening or supermarket own brand vodka.

I think that Baileys has gone straight to your head, OP. That's the risk of drinking in the afternoon.

How about a nap?

Gross! Back in teh day, I only ever got drunk on Bailey's if I were desperate and it was the only thing around. I promise you, it doesn't make for a good drunk and an even worse hangover, especially if you have a cigarette hangover, too.
