To be a little bit scared by this, facebook related.

Went to my friends house last night who I haven't seen in ages for a chat. We got talking about facebook and I mentioned that I am not a member and haven't been on it before. She is a member so we went on and she showed me how it works, we looked at people we went to school and college with etc and out of curiosity we looked at ex boyfriends.
My ex who I split with 7 years ago when I was 22 was on there. We looked at his photos and to my utter horror he had photos of a group skiing holiday we went on back in 2001 with lots of cosy photos of us together. Bearing in mind that he only had about 20 photos on his whole page and about 8 featured me on this holiday, would you be a tad concerned.
I went out with him for 6 years and to say he was upset when I finished with him is an understatement, but it was 7 years ago FGS. We don't have any kids and we didn't live together or anything, we were each others 1st loves. My friends said she would be a little freaked out if it was her, which I am. Do you think I am over reacting, I don't know how facebook works, AIBU?

Sounds like he is trying to make it look like he has a girlfriend on his facebook page to me. As long as he's not hassling you I don't see why you'd be scared. It's just a bit sad really!

Hmm - it's hard to say whether you should be concerned or not. It might be that he has only uploaded a couple of albums so far, one of which happens to feature you, and he has millions more photos to upload but hasn't got around to it yet. Or, on the other hand, maybe he hasn't moved on. Are you still in touch at all? Do you know if he's had any other relationships?

did you look at the up load date, it may be that he up loaded the photos along time ago, for someone else and just uploaded the whole album?? [clutches at straws!]

We never kept in touch (my choice), I bumped into him about 4 years ago in Tesco when i was with DH (not my DH then), he said he lived with his girlfriend etc. I just thought it was a tad weird seeing as he has probably had numerous holidays since that one and he has loads of friends on facebook (over 100), I don't get why a lot of his photos feature me, an ex from 7 years ago.

To only have 20 photos on his profile is very few - most people have hundreds. I reckon he just hasn't got round to uploading them - he made a start when he uploaded the ski holiday ones (and as leonifay says, this may well have been to share with someone else who was on that trip) but hasn't bothered doing any more. I know I usually can't be bothered putting pics on fb, but have done a random few.

Another thought - are they definitely uploaded by him? When you look at someone's fb profile and click on 'see photos of [ex]', you will be shown pics that other people have uploaded and they have 'tagged' the people in the pics iyswim. So it's possible they might not even be his pics?

I can understand why you're freaked out though!
