who can't seem to cover her mouth when she coughs, and who is unable to eat lunch without letting me 'hear' all about it

Ugh and now she's just licked her fingers clean

ImOverHere Mon 29-Jun-09 13:18:26

Scream away.

mamas12 Mon 29-Jun-09 13:19:17

Hand her a wet wipe

PricklyVelvet Mon 29-Jun-09 13:20:20

start doing the same back at her, if she says anything say you thought immatation was the kindest form of flattery

amidaiwish Mon 29-Jun-09 13:21:32

def say something about the coughing, that's just gross.
not sure what you can say about the lunch - apart from make a joke about it?...

posieparker Mon 29-Jun-09 13:23:02

Invite your most outspoken colleague over for a chat at lunch and let them tell her!!!

jumpingbeans Mon 29-Jun-09 13:23:34

mine make my skin crawl,he eats pots and pots of yougat, spends ages licking every bit off the lid, then eats/scoops it in his gob, then spends the next five mins scrapping round the pot getting every bit out, then starts on another one, we have had to watch 2 so far, i feel like ramming it in his face... so i know how you feel

cheesesarnie Mon 29-Jun-09 13:24:27

id copy her and im sure she will soon see how annoying and disgusting it is.

ScarletBandit Mon 29-Jun-09 13:25:21

Not unreasonable at all, that would drive me mad!

Cerened Mon 29-Jun-09 13:26:49

Oh glad IANBU grin

Jumpingbeans - that 'scarpy scrapy' thing with youghurt pots makes me want to go postal. Is it reeeealy worth it for the 0.5ml of yoghurt you get out of it??

Cerened Mon 29-Jun-09 13:27:42

I am so uptight about this it has affected my typing smile

talbot Mon 29-Jun-09 13:30:23

Oh god, licking yoghurt lids in public should be punishable by death.

Stretch Mon 29-Jun-09 13:47:31

Email her this thread....<<evil>> grin

mumtobe23 Mon 29-Jun-09 13:55:11

Oh this post is so funny because I was thinking about starting one up about my pain in the arse colleague who sits directly opposit me & seems to suffer from hayfever, cue the sniffing, sneezing and coughing....i wouldn't mind so much and would be a lot more sympathetic but he insits he doesn't suffer from it and so won't take any form of tablet offered!! angry

He seems to sniff about 3 times a minuet for the last 4.5 hours & with each sniff I feel my body tense. I suppose it doesn't help I'm 30 weeks pregnant and already irritable with this heat!

Plus I'm there with the loud eating, the same colleague (who i also think has worms as he eats every two minuets) also likes to announce what he's eating..."Ummm chocolate bar" CRUNCH CRUNCH swallow..."ummmmm crisps" crunch crunch swallow. Ahhhhhh!!

jumpingbeans Mon 29-Jun-09 14:00:04

Well, when he has eaten his crisps, the packet is empty, he wipes his finger around the inside of the empty packet and licks the "flavour" off his finger, thats what he called it, i was so pissed of that day, i did ask him that the fuck he was doing he is a total knob

Cerened Mon 29-Jun-09 14:01:21

Start asking if he has swine flu Mumtobe23 grin

I think I have a very low tolerance generally to other people in general 's eating/breathing noise. I've often wondered if one day I'll go into a catatonic state, to wake up and find out I've hit someone because of it

grin at Stretch

Cerened Mon 29-Jun-09 14:02:25

Lol Jumping - what did he do/say?

saggyhairyarse Mon 29-Jun-09 14:03:12

I used to work opposite a man who snorted back his snot.

Cerened Mon 29-Jun-09 14:05:23

<boak> Saggy. That wins the 'annoying behaviour award' I think

talbot Mon 29-Jun-09 14:13:39

I definitely think eating an apple in an office should be illegal.

Cerened Mon 29-Jun-09 14:20:15

yy Talbot. I can't eaxctly explain why people eating apples makes my head feel like it's about to explode

<munch munch munch>

Repeat for 5 minutes

<Cerened leaves the room to scream>

jumpingbeans Mon 29-Jun-09 14:23:14

cerened, thats what he said he was doing "licking the flavour"from the packet

mumtobe23 Mon 29-Jun-09 14:23:42

Hahaha oh yes talbot eating an apple should definatley be banned!
I actually think there should be a law aginst it!
