i have just spent THE most frustrating evening ever. im looking for another job. so i see one on the jobcentre site and i decide to go for it - it only takes online applications so ive just spent all friggin night doing this online application and guess what....

i press send

it says "error. our HR systems are not on to process your request- please try again later"

ok - so i press the save tab instead

it says "error. our HR systems are not on to process your request - please try again later"

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

so now - is it safe to leave your lappy on and open all night?
ive written a sodding essay and i cant save it in any format - DS is a computing genius and even he cant find a way to save the stupid bloody thing...and i REFUSE to do it again - ive written my life story ffs!
im very very pissed off!

copy the text out into something else and save that. you can leave the laptop on, but it could crash, or small fingers could press something.

does sound crap though. is it an IT job maybe?

Leave it switched on, it'll be fine. I often leave mine on all night

copy the text individually from each box. you won't be able to do the whole thing as one.

could save just the text bit in a notepad but all the boring bits id have to do again....why do employers do this? it drives me totally and utterly insane!
