AIBU?

To really not want to go to the classic car show even though it is fathers day

Don't get me wrong, i quite like classic cars, but our DD who is 3, really doesn't. OK so there is a funfair there apparently - but that just means spending even more money appeasing said 3yo so DP can go look at the cars but will feel stressed doing so as DD will have whined all the way until we relent and take her on the overpriced merrygofecking round.

Im being selfish aren't i?

I would suggest he go by himself but thats almost worse if you know what i mean.

Go, and grit your teeth and be nice.
It will mean a lot to him.
Then go out for lunch or have a picnic.

(I do sympathise, can imagine nothing more tedious.)
