I dont think it is actually such a bad place/ organisation...fair enough sometimes the Macdonalds service/experience isnt always fantastic but on the whole I dont think its that bad anymore smile

well I think they are trying their best and dont always deserve the scorn they receive

I really like Macdonald's coffee. I KNOW it is crap, but it was all I could afford when I was a struggling student/early work years on the way to uni/office and now I have an acquired taste for it. Not the new posh cappuccino stuff, the manky filter stuff.

stoppinattwo Sat 20-Jun-09 19:07:40

<<<waits for the "i hate Mcdonalds" crew and is getting a little dissappointed>>

stoppinattwo Sat 20-Jun-09 19:09:30

PuzzleRocks Sat 20-Jun-09 19:11:35

stoppinattwo Sat 20-Jun-09 19:12:08

hocuspontas Sat 20-Jun-09 19:14:57

I think everyone who reads FFN stops eating at McDonalds for a year then gets drawn back in. I did.

PuzzleRocks Sat 20-Jun-09 19:15:39

How about the damn clown? Clowns scare the bejeezus out of me.

PuzzleRocks Sat 20-Jun-09 19:17:08

Hocus. I haven't eaten there since but I must admit I almost wanted to when pregnant. You know sometimes you just want something really dirty. Like a pot noodle.

stoppinattwo Sat 20-Jun-09 19:17:37

oh yes but i think that is stephen kings fault not poor old ronald.....he doesnt coax kids into sewers.....<<shudders>>

stoppinattwo Sat 20-Jun-09 19:18:30

PuzzleRocks Sat 20-Jun-09 19:19:17

Oddly I love IT. I have a bit of a crush on Tim Curry.

LaurieFairyCake Sat 20-Jun-09 19:20:11

I don't buy it because they don't let their staff join a union and in America they closed down an outlet and opened one fifty yards away to circumvent employment laws.

And they were first to introduce zero hours contracts.

They are a triumph of capitalism. It's up to every individuals political bias to decide if that is a good thing.

hocuspontas Sat 20-Jun-09 19:22:26

<shudders at pot noodle>

Yes. It only takes one visit. Then you are hooked.

When I was pregnant I kept craving KFC. Dp wasn't too happy as the nearest one was 15 miles away!

TheCrackFox Sat 20-Jun-09 19:23:03

We go about twice a year and if I am being honest I bloody love Macdonalds.

PuzzleRocks Sat 20-Jun-09 19:23:19
