I want babies....................

five lovely wonderful children, all with better social lives than me.

one out with her best friend at wimbourne festival, then sleeping over (just had her grounding and curfew re-sorted).

one at a fair, then sleeping over with her best friend

one at her best friends party, then sleeping over too.

one at cubs

t'other one has found that girls are great, and playing next door with out new neighbours and showing off

I should be loving this shouldn;t I.....

nope, feeling lonely.

I wanna baby, one that won;t need a better social life than me for a while yet.

I miss my babies. I miss cheerful happy babies who loved to cuddle up with a story. Babies who went to bed at 6pm. Babies who had an afternoon nap. Babies who didn't answer back. Babies who were pleasureable to be around.

In their place I have gangly stroppy hormonal girls who stay awake till all hours, go to parties and talk to boys and cause me huge amounts of angst and worry.

If I could have a guarantee they'd stay below 2 I'dhave a few more.

I love babies. Just not mad keen on children.

now, fostering I would love to do (seriously), atho not yet....need to get these children up and grown some more yet. my ideal would be once they are all teens at least, and then do babies.

oh, and sibling groups......they are the ones who get split the most, and that is so sad.....I would do siblngs.

on the today note......I want to rewind time to before these could talk and argue and beg and strop and answer back......do ya see where I am going with this??

but the fact that they do all these things mean you have raised them to be independent feisty buggers which is great and you should be very pleased with yourself for!

I know what you mean Psychomum I have 6 aged 11 and under and am already worrying about empty nest syndrome .

I feel when I am cuddling my baby because I know that this newborn stage is so precious but goes so quick and it is the last time I will have my own little newborn . .

My Baby starts school this year so i am feeling it too. Pelvic floor is shot after three so trying to resist (also sister has found out she is infertile so would feel bad about having another one).

I would, however, love my big boys to go out more but they seem to prfer staying in and fighting with each other!

Oh GOD I am so with you. Yesterday I sorted out the baby clothes AGAIN and it was that moment when you turn it round from 'hmm which to keep because they are so sweet' to 'hmm which ones am I going to USE next time' someone give me a slap with a wet fish please. (Psycho tis me NF btw)

(Whispers).. truth to tell I find babies a bit boring, though children are lots of fun!

Having said that - it's great when they go out too!

Ohhhh Psycho it's named after ds2 as he was 2 yesterday, and it's what me and ds1 call him

yes 18 months is a grand little age to be. Though I do rather want to bottle 2 weeks, myself
