DH and I went to the pics for the first time since before ds was born, to see Star Trek.
And no IWNBU seing Star Trek it was brilliant (except for Eric Bana, he was shite).

Anyhoo, before the trailers were the all the flipping adverts... 4 of which were for alcohol! Bearing in mind this was a 12A rated film, so mainly family oriented AND it was on over lunchtime, I don't think this was entirely appropriate!

So... AIBU to email to Cineworld to point out their gaffe? Would have spoken to the manager at the time but we needed to get back in a hurry so I could take ds to a birthday party.

Grrrrr I managed to post this three bloody times due to the sodding ads causing the page not to load properly!!

Perhaps they expected most 12 year olds to go with their parents - so perhaps the ads were more directed at the parents? I don't think they give much consideration to the to their adverts to be honest - which is wrong
