Have name-changed..

To cut a long story short, I met someone, about 2 months ago. We have met up on several occasions, he's absolutely lovely and we get on so well etc etc

However, I met up with him last night and we went out for dinner etc. When we got back, one thing led to another, which was fine by me. The thing is, when we started, he started making these funny wheezing noises . As I was on top I thought it might have been me. We tried other positions but he was still making this wheezing noise, very loudly.

I'm just wondering whether this type of thing is normal, perhaps just him getting excited?? I have to be honest, it did put me off a bit, even though maybe it shouldn't have. He isn't asthmatic or anything so not sure why he was making this noise.

He really is lovely and I know it's a small thing compared to the other lovely things about him

Is he unfit? The more you do it the fitter he'll get remember!

He goes to the gym about 3 times a week, so not unfit, as such and he wasn't particularly worn out afterwards, either

Perhaps it's his excited noise?

I vaguely remember in my early teenage years, my boyfriend wheezing when we kissed. He was overweight though and had chocolate in his mouth at the same time as our kiss. Infact the awful memory has made me want to vomit.

Why not start wheezing yourself, might take your mind off of his wheezing?

oh bless.....if he is otherwise lovely don't let it put you off!

  • Now there's a thought!!

Seriously though, it's a bit off-putting

I bet it is.

Don't know what you can say to him without hurting his feelings though.

What about back ground music to mask it?

We had background music on, quite loudly

Is it actually a wheeze, like he's ill? Or his funny over-breathing sex noise? If it puts you off now, it doesn't look good...

did you have lily allen playing "its not fair"??

maybe he felt he had to do a little noise

I shouldn't laugh, but I am, a lot.

Is it his sex noise?

Report
footinmouth · 06/06/2009 21:16

It did sound a bit like he was on his last legs. I asked him if I was hurting him and he said 'hell no'

Could you ask him to stop or to try a different noise? Quacking or something?

Report
muggglewump · 06/06/2009 21:19

Was it good?

Could you wear earplugs next time?

Report
footinmouth · 06/06/2009 21:27

Phantomplopper

muggglewump - yeah, it was good

Earplug sounds like a good option but probably wouldn't see (or hear) him again. I do like him and don't want to sound mean. Is there any way I could casually drop it into conversation without sounding like an insensitive cow? I'm meant to be meeting him again on tues...

"Would you please not sound like you are about to drop dead when we're next fucking?"

You said please, that's polite right?

Maybe his nose is tight or something, what about leaving some or those breathe strips lying around and hope he gets the message.

Watch porn, and then he'll go over the top with moaning, but it might be better than the wheezing?

sorry, I'm still finding this funny

give him a puff of Ventolin beforehand?

Btw a loud wheezing would put me off big time!
