If it was illegal I wouldn't have gone and I wouldn't feel so dog rough now.

My body hurts.

My knees hurt.

I have blisters.

My back hurts.

I can barely walk.

My ears are still ringing.

My eyes hurt from mascara.

I'm very tired from going to bed very late.

And I have to write some bloody essay and I don't feel up to it.

i never got the appeal of night clubs, even when i was under 25. i've always preferred going to a concert or see some live music somewhere.

I havn't been to one for years- don't think I'd get past the door, what with my food stained cardi and slippers!

YANBU - I was about 28 last time I ventured into one. Granted it was quite a studenty one but I just couldn't be arsed anymore - waiting half an hour to buy overpriced booze, other people's sweat dripping off the ceiling... But the worst was that it made me feel so old, I hadn't noticed I wasn't 21 until then.

The great thing about being 32 is that I don't have to pretend I enjoy that sort of thing anymore. I love festivals still but that's totally different...

lol - I would have said 35 - I was good for it until then but got VERY bored when I went to one for a friend's hen night a couple of years back, I believe I was 38 then...

Does depend on the night club though - there are some that seem to cater for the barely legal age group and they're no fun post-25.

YABU! I love a good boogie and I am the grand old age of 32

The recovery is bloody harsh these days, though.

The last time I did this I was 30, and we ended up there due to it being someone's much younger sister's birthday. We felt so old and were all still dressed in our office clothes! But at the same time, it was liberating to be too old to really give a shit what anyone thought, and we did some mighty ridiculous dancing!

YABU. Fine to go in nightclubs as long as you don't take it too seriously....

Been in one club. It was like the end of days.

Good friend's hen night this month. We're 'starting' in a karaoke bar. There's not a bit of that sentence I like.

YABU. But my 22 year old DD said after she went to one for her Hen night that she felt she was too old for them now!

One thing I'll really miss is that horrid black gunge you used to get round your shoes and/or hems from the combination of fag ash and spilled booze. Ah, those were the days...

YANBU. Last time I was in a night club was for a hen night. I made my excuses to leave at 10:30! I much prefer a pub (with a seat) or a meal out. I can't stand it when the music is so loud that you cannot have a conversation.

One of my best friends used to go clubbing in her teens and early twenties. She said that they were only enjoyable if you were E'ed up. I have never touched those kinds of drugs, so I counted me out.

I fondly remember an Earth Dance party in LA that started at noon. We left at 9 PM. Got in the car, thinking "Thank God I'm not the one who has to drive. It all looks like a space ship to me". At that moment, my friend in driver's seat turns and says "I can't drive this car. All these lights. It looks like a UFO" We then had to wait for someone who has had a bit less fun to drive us back into the city.

Those were the days
