Just witnessed an advert promoting these shoes.

Dear god they must be the cheapest and nastiest looking footwear I have ever seen.

Some hideous lilac boot of some discription for between £60 and £70, honestly who would spend that amount of money to make your child look so cheap?

Awful looking things.

Have never seen advert, but presume it is in american accent as DD (5) calls them "Erly Kerly" shoes

I didn't realise there was another thread, glad I am not the only one staring in horror at the TV when those hideous shoes come on.

Nasty shoes, nasty adverts, awful overdubbed song.

Naturally DD loves them. I am mean mummy and deny her hearts desire.

I hate them although dd has had a pair, i got them in a sale for £5, no way would i bay more than £30 for shoes.

Actually the price of childrens shoes in general is crazy.

Went to get DS a pair of boots for the winter in Clarks, £36, i would rarely spend that on shoes for myself, he is only 3, his shoes are tiny for gods sake.

yes. they really are way worse than the tatty shite you get in Next and Disney.
Presume you lot all only buy Tartin et Chocolat.

My DD has the Mary Janes and she loves them.

What toss.

Sycamoretree · 23/10/2008 15:41

They are rank, but i know if I was 6 again I would love them.

I distract wildly from the TV when the adverts come on.

I dunno - girls and glitter - one has to accept at some point that it is pretty much hardwired into their dna.

And I have spent 3 years successfully dodging pink and glitter.

But DD is only 3, and there is clearly going to come a time when she realises a world of spun sugar and tackiness exists out there that I have been hiding her from. I need to get rehearsing my excuses...

No idea what Tartin et chocolat is.

But seriously have you seen the boots they have out, they are real naff, dont even mind the sequin things as much as what wee girl doesn't like sparkly shoes.

They have apeared on DTDs Christmas list for the third year running.

I don't think the elves know how to make them as they have not appeared in the stockings yet
