I'd be glad of the lie in tbh
Just make him do it all this pm while you go back to bed

I had a lucky lie in and came down to chaos too. I let him off as it's Sunday. He's now gone out with dc 'so that i can clean up without interruption' THE CHEEK!
Hope your migraine is better.

this morning, before DH departed to go and visit his (admittedly not v well) mother 200 miles away, leaving me to do church & Sunday lunch with 3 kids all by myself, he announced:
but I've washed up the breakfast dishes for you

gee, thanks.

Have you talked to them about it or are you just standing there glaring at them hoping they will telepathically know what you want them to do?

I would say 'seeing as how none of you have tidied up this morning can you either help me do it now or all go out', then hopefully they willgo to the park or something and get some fresh air so you can tidy up in peace

I did manetion it. dh said he hadn't noticed (thats cos his face was superglued to the fucking computer game) and ds2 said 'oh'
This happens far too often. No wonder we have mice. I go to bed at 9 with dd and come down in the morning to find the dinner still everywhere cos the 3 makes don't bother.
It is starting to grate slightly. If I explode they manage for a whole day before lapsing back. Feeling like a skivvy.
