use the last piece of toilet paper and walk away without putting another roll on the holder?
Inevitably you've done your business, you reach out for some paper and there's nothing there!
It infuriates me.

in 8 years of living together my DH has never replaced the loo roll

and I always leave the cutlery draw open...

they most certainly will the irreconcilable differences in our(not yet imminent) divorce

no, perfectly reasonable.

Keep the spare loo roll within reaching distance of the loo. It's much easier than cleaning upall the blood.

The cutlery drawer thing I could live with, so long as you always set the microwave back to zero/the time display when you've finished with it.

DH will get a new roll out, but not put it on the holder, just balance it on the old roll. How hard is it to take the old roll off & put a new one on?? It's not like he hurrys when he's in there...an extra 30 seconds won't kill him.

Look before you sit.

Even worse is the person who leaves ONE SQUARE of paper on the roll. So when you have a go at them for not changing it they say "but it's not finished yet".

My dh finishes off the coffee and puts the empty jar back in the cupboard. He's lucky he's not been castrated yet.

I keep spare rolls within reaching distance of the loo, so DH will change the roll. He is however oblivious to the fact that the spare rolls need replenishing from time to time, so I've still been caught out on occasion.

Try to maim in an area with wipe clean flooring.

I hate it when my DH changes the loo roll (good thing it hardly ever happens) because he always puts the new loo roll on the wrong way round

Report
Aniyan · 26/09/2008 17:25

Yep, I'm the only one who changes the roll here too.

I always notice the roll's finished before I do my business, but purely because I always have to wipe boy-pee off the seat before I can use the loo

my DH opens a new loo roll then leaves it sitting on the top of the holder. on tha rare occasions he does change it properly, he puts it the wrong way round!! drives me mad!

Right, imagine the toilet roll when you pulled it so that a few sheets are down. These sheets should be nearest the wall the toilet roll holder is fixed to. The other way round is the wrong way.

I'm obsessive arn't I

Report
platypussy · 26/09/2008 17:39

No No No Nt!! That is the wrong way round! The sheets have to hang down the front, not against the wall!

Report
TheInvisibleManDidIt · 26/09/2008 17:40

God, this is my biggest bug bear.

My dh hasn't changes a toilet roll in 10 years!!

erm, and yeah, that is slightly obsessive nametaken.

Otherwise you run the risk of dirty marks on the wall where people repeatedly touch to get hold of the paper! We'll have to agree to disagree!!

Report
sockmonkey · 26/09/2008 17:47

Yes the paper flap needs to be at the front. All else is madness.
