AIBU?

To let DS carry on sleeping in his buggy even though I KNOW it will screw with bedtime?

Just got home from work/nursery pick up (about half an hour ago). DS has been ill lately and is fast asleep in his buggy. I am 14 wks pg, in a rotten mood, and tired.

So I KNOW if he sleeps in his buggy he'll come down 800 times after being put to bed tonight.

But I'm tired and want to watch Friends and do nothing and not have to wake up a grumpy toddler.

I know what I should do. But I know what I want to do.

Judge me, MN Jury.

My DD sometimes sleeps at 5pm for half an hour and I know it makes bedtime more difficult but at least DH is home then!!

If he is poorly he may need the sleep more anyway.

No judging. We've been there too. But get him up now. It may be a hassle, but you know it will be worse later if you don't.

Will he watch Frends with you? And a packet of biscuits, too, maybe? Never mind a helathy supper for a change.

agree get him up, or he wont be going/staying in bed till about 10pm and by then you will feel knackered and stressed

maybe he could watch a little tv of his own while you chill out with friends - or bribe with a choccy biscuit etc

I know, I know. But he's sooooooooo grumpy if I wake him up, am considering just tipping him into bed now and seeing what happens!

Charlie and Lola is on now, might wake him up and plonk him in front of it.

Sigh.
