You don't know anything about them, maybe they had special needs?...

I took my baby last year, but she was frightfully well behaved.

RubyRioja Mon 22-Sep-08 17:18:55

Not always any choice. You know that really.

I'd kill for a reliable, available babysitter.

bloomingfedup Mon 22-Sep-08 17:19:48

FAQ Mon 22-Sep-08 17:19:49

surely it's no worse than the parents that sit and whisper comments to each other all the way through such things grin

RandomFlopsy Mon 22-Sep-08 17:20:35

[was that ok? i didn't peak too early did I?]

BitOfFun Mon 22-Sep-08 17:21:45

Maybe they were discussing what the Deputy Head had to say between themselves, but just looked like pre-schoolers, but actually have a growth disorder?

2beornot2be Mon 22-Sep-08 17:22:10

I am so shocked that a mother would bring them and then for the little Twits Darlings to make noise during the deputy heads speech well that is something else. The mother should of at least took them out

saint2shoes Mon 22-Sep-08 17:23:42

there is no need for it imo,

psychomum5 Mon 22-Sep-08 17:23:44

did you not say something to her cod???

TsarChasm Mon 22-Sep-08 17:25:49

We have similar on here about preschoolers at the Christmas plays don't we? You're living dangerously Cod wink

saint2shoes Mon 22-Sep-08 17:27:08

it is also not a good Idea to take teens as they make you giggle

RubyRioja Mon 22-Sep-08 17:28:14

I am sure everyone would prefer not to bring young children to these things, but I know I have a limited list of people willing to take my dcs for meetings, and if they are not available, I am stuffed.

Sometimes there is a need for it. TBH I take choc bribes and quiet toys.

2beornot2be Mon 22-Sep-08 17:30:32

Cod could u not of moved away from the whispering
