Tia Maria and little brother Daniel Jack

My friend called her son John Daniel on his birth certificate, they call him Jack Daniel as his nick name.

they aren't very imaginative names, nor particularly attractive but what you name your child is totally up to you as a parent.

how would you like it if someone came on and started saying that they thought the name ethan was a bit passe and common?

its personal choice. you may not like it its none of your business.

okay but at least when ethan is old enuff for him and his friends to know brands of alcohol he wont be laffed at

i know a jack daniel who got mercilessly ribbed at about 14 when people realised.

Yep, I was in the park earlier when I heard Mamazon call her 4 children in for their tea - Bert, Ernie, BigBird and CookieMonster went straight in without their mum having to call them more than once.

I agree completely that it is everyone's personal choice as to what to call their kids but surely there has to be a limit to some of it

these twins have two middle names that match too for example

one john brian smith
two john brian smith

names have been changed to protect the innocent of course

dh says they're probably about early thirties - would be interesting to ask them what they thought of their names

in scotland you dont have personal choice anyway, they can refuse to register certain names.
