Which I am loving. It's part time and I'm enjoying it, the people and office are nice and the baby has settled happily into spending time with Granny.

So...

AIBU to be quietly MNing in the corner on my lunch break before I've even put a full week in?

My MNing has got to quite epic proportions. I don't post much though.

My screen even faces onto the office.

YANBU - 'tis your lunch, but check the company policy on internet use - just in case!

Everyone else will be as well... and not waiting for lunchbreak . The internet is a wonderful thing.

Be careful! I never ever mumsnet from work because I absolutely KNOW it's too addictive for me in certain moods and I wouldn't do any work. But if your work has a reasonable internet policy and you have good will power then have fun.

Yes YABU.

Wait 'til you're made permanent! Or at least until they stop watching to see if you're any good!

Well lunch over in 3 mins so am going to go away now...

Have had a look at the internet policy and think I'm OK.

Feel v naughty and a bit cheeky to be on it so soon though!!!

Thanks for your thoughts all - am now concerned about spiralling MNing addiction taking over!!!

Have a good afternoon - if you see me around slap me!

Glad you're enjoying the job. Don't get sacked!

Pot/kettle stuff though. I start back at work next week and already wondering how I'll get through the day without MN.

Answer: I won't
