I'm so annoyed at DH, we've been out and had a lovely evening, DS1 (23 months) played lovely with another little boy in the beer garden of our local pub and ds2 (8 weeks) fell asleep, anyway, wanted to continue the night at home (feel like establishing some sort of social life again) and he's gone out as he's had a 'shit week' as if toddler tantrums aren't shit!!!!! Boo to me, so it's 10.25 and I'm in my PJ's about to go to bed on a friday night, while he's off 'galivanting'.....

Just to claify, I didn't want to stay in the pub, just have some company at home.

Because you have to, you know that don't you? If you don't take a stand early, you'll be handcuffed to the kitchen sink while His Nibs rolls in at 2am whenever he feels like it.

hm...can and can't undersand, tbh...sounds a bit like here at my house...but well...sometimes this is ok, others it isn't....maybe your oh wasn't ready to come home, considering kids ere fine, and all that...
so what bothers you...that he couldn't finish the night at home , that you are home, or that he is out...

Baby sitter not optional, tea at pub was a last minute decision coz weather was nice, so nothing organised, and had to come home as DS1 getting tired and crabby..

I didn't so much want to stay out, just DH to want to stay home with me and not go out, or for me to stay out and him put DS's to bed

ok...now I got it and totally understand it...have een left on my own often enough and there are times when that is not what you want...and you should tell your dh...honestly...he may not realisse how you feel...
and don't do it when you are out having a drink and a laugh, but explain how you feel..honestly blokes can be so ignorant at times....they really don't get it/realize it

I know, I just haven't had a fag since I found out I was pregnant with DS2 in Sept last year, I REALLY want one tonight though and he say's I'm not allowed (Understandably, as i'd probably regret it in the morning), it has someting to do with the bottle of rose that has gone 'missing!'

Korma, good idea, and going to the Co-Op in the morning and getting some Marley Lights, then I can do what I want with them!!!!

must admit when my kids were babys I didn't have the energy to go out...lol....I just fell into bed as soon as I could...lol
