to want to go and see Mamma Mia! for a third time at the cinema - I do love it so

Saw it for the first time on Monday and again on Wedneday this week.

Both times to packed audiences.

I have looked at the cinema schedule and it has been out about 7 weeks now and they are begining to reduce the amount of showings.

I need to see it again before waiting a few months for the DVD release!

Am desperate!

LowFat - I have a friend who has seen it three times too and when I was in a pub a few weeks ago two ladies came dancing in! "We have just seen Mamma Mia!" These complete strangers trilled "It was fab! People were dancing in the isles." "Oh, really" I smiled - rewiring my mind away from thinking they were - cough - on something!

• So please LowFat tell me what is so so great about it - it doesn't come out at cinemas until September where I live - maybe I should go and see it - but then I am afraid of getting addicted!!!

It is a celebration of womanhood on every level.

It is funny and endearing, it makes you scream with laughter and sob with emotion.

Maryl Streep is fantastic and Julie Walters goes way beyond with her comic capers.

The men in it are referred to in a whole new way at one point - I wont tell you and spoil it

The singing is great, except for Pierce Brosnan - but no one else would do for his role, so even his singing is great.

I just loved it loved it loved!

I don't like musicals or abba music, but my friend insisted I saw it with her (it was her third time !) and I totally loved it !
Just really silly and funny and feel good.
Want to take my dds to see it before its run ends here, they will love it !

Saw it for the 2nd ime last night with friends and we all said we could just sit through it again there and then.

DD2 went last week and has been nagging us to take her again.

So - will it satisfy:

a) dp who is into horror films, mainstream but pretending to be intellectual and groundbreaking films that I hated (like The Piano and Brokeback Mountain) and arthouse subtitled Russian and French stuff

b) dd1 who is semi emo and doing the whole "I'm too deep to enjoy myself" thing, except when she is in hysterics over something "random" (eg: The Smurfs)

c) Me - who only really watches children's films based on books, Jane Austen adaptations and cheesy eighties stuff (favourite films The Breakfast Club and Clueless)

Are we a hopeless case, or should we go and see it?

My mum went for the second tie this week and said it was just as good the second time around. DH came with me to see it (under protest) and loved it.

Moondog - why are you resisting it?

I saw the stage show with DH and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I loved the film because the music was great, you felt good and your brain is not taxed. On the 4 occasions I have gone with others going for the first time and loved to see their response. DH loved the film after initially refusing to go.

It is a wonderful feelgood experience and Maryl Streep and Julie Walters are fantastic.

Can't wait for the DVD

My 14 yr old DD and 17yr old DS really enjoyed it. DD has seen it 3 times. MIL came with me and she has now seen it twice. Went also with 54 friend same age as me and they loved.

I haven't met anyone in RL who has not enjoyed it.
