I am a bit tipsy and prone to confessing my darkest desires and secrets in such states of unsoberness

I am utterly ashamed of myself

My friend met him in a casino one night and said he was lovely, his friend was drunk and he spent all night apologising for him, and didn't swear all night.

Cosmo74 Sat 16-Aug-08 02:06:52

No No No you are not wrong - there is just something about him!!! I told DH and he couldn't understand why I like him! and I couldn't explain - it is just something.....I do like my food though so maybe that's it!

christywhisty Sat 16-Aug-08 02:14:55

There is something about him

Cosmo74 Sat 16-Aug-08 02:16:29

just like Robbie - there is something about him too! or is that just me!

Well you are being pretty unreasonable, unless you are
a) mid cycle horny
b) Mrs Ramsey
c) a woman of dubious taste wink

"My friend met him in a casino one night and said he was lovely, his friend was drunk and he spent all night apologising for him, and didn't swear all night."

He should be home with his family. Apparently he got chatting to my daughter in a night club in London one night too. Family men in 2008 with young children ought to be helping with the children at home and indeed if they go out for the evening they should go with their wives most of the time. Whether the fact they don't makes them more attractive to women is another matter but politically it's certainly not what you expect.

OracleInaCoracle Sat 16-Aug-08 08:00:12

ah, xenia, so men (and women) should not be allowed any social life of friendships beyond the family home hmm

roseability Sat 16-Aug-08 09:43:19

I am now sober and ashamed to admit that if he walked through my door and said 'get your fucking knickers off!', well I would actually blush.......if I wasn't married of course wink

wessexgirl Sat 16-Aug-08 09:45:12

Just don't expect him to change your baby's nappy if it gets to that stage hmm.

TrinityWino Sat 16-Aug-08 09:46:03

I am sober and I agree with you, I have a fridge magnet of him and both his bokks

cyteen Sat 16-Aug-08 09:47:57

AbbaFan Sat 16-Aug-08 09:48:25

Xenia - WTF..... are you living in the 50's!!!!

I love Mr Ramsey too, and so would wink

He is a family man though as he only opens his restaurant Monday to Friday because he feels weekends are for family and that includes his staff, so they don't have to work! What a boss!!! I think he's fab grin

moondog Sat 16-Aug-08 09:50:11

God he is vile. Huge head and thin lips (always a bad sign)
Like a man in drag, he is.
