aibu to want to scream every night when it stops right outside my window and does the whistle thing 10x REALLY loudly Also when it stops a bit further up and then down the road - its SOOOO loud. Are you allowed to make that much noise evrey single night at 9pm in an area with loads of families?

9pm does seem a little optimistic imo (most kids in bed or parents trying to make them go to bed)

Round here the icecream van tends to come late afternoon which would seem much more sensible/profitable.

go out and ask him nicely not to stop right outside after your kids bedtime. Tell him to come back on Saturday afternoon and you might buy some!

it comes 3x a day, earlier times it does a wee tune, late at night it whistles.always has a huge queue even though it stops at like numbers 50...200..350...

A huge queue at 9pm?

And do these people not have freezers?

I grew up withan Ice cream van that stopped in the day and 10.00 at night. My bed time was nine, I used to get excited seeing it outside the window hawever I new i had to be in bed and that i was not going to get and icecream. As an adult with a child I have no problem with this, as my son has a treat in the day but he knows not at bedtime...even though some times he may be awake.
