AIBU?

To think that some AIBU threads are just made up.

Somethings just seem so unlikely.
Or some people seem to have lots of things happen to them that are prime candidates for a AIBU thread - I think this a lot actually.

why would people make up stuff, most of the AIBU threads are about mental and or physical abuse from partners/wives/ husbands, family troubles, money issues, people losing their homes.

I don't get why people would make up stories like that

YABveryU!! Alot of aibu threads are also from people who are really asking for advice and need help etc. I don't think they're made up. Have you any examples or is this thread just made up too?

SG i have seen you post and be supported on MN without questioning of your motive as unlikely

I am not talking about the AIBU threads that are serious tbh - I don't think they are made up at all, nor unlikely (sadly).

I think some people find themselves in lots of blindingly obvious unreasonable situations (talking about parking spaces type stuff - although thats not an example!!), not sure how to describe it tbh without naming names and that would be vindictive. As is this thread probably.

well yesterdays tesco fiasco was obviously made up.

but sometimes, it seems silly, the stuff that people get aibu about. but thats why there is a separate section for it. because we all have bad days, and just need to rant, or need our rant justified. iyswim

the trolley dolly person, inundating mn yesterday, so no one could see anything in active conversations, other than her ranting about tesco carrier bags.

Some times the little things annoy people, and this is the best place to post. Sometimes, just judging by the thread title, this is not the place to post (won't be more specific).

Re only posting here, or only posting on one thread (can't believe that's a crime now), sometimes we're too busy to spend all day reading and posting on more than one thread.

Lots of people probably name change all the time too!

I don't take it too personally here, if you want real proper sympathy or even agreement, AIBU is not the best place to post...(but sometimes that can be said for all of MN)
