when we are x-directory. Then when calling bt nuisance line that they cant do anything as bt doesnt have the number to return call as coming from abroad and therefore cant do anything!!!

Arggghh.. do people REALLY believe they have one a carribean cruise??

Because they said if you do 1471 and it says number withheld they can trace it but if it says do not have callers number it means it is from abroad. Is pants.

Only just moved house so new telephone number, my 8 year old has just learnt it so will be a real pain to change it but might do!

TPS doesn't work on calls from outside the uK.

I agree, they really piss me off. There seems to have been a massive rise in the frequency of these recently. I'v been getting one every few days for several weeks.

I would be that they rang and at that time of night not because of waking the baby, just because I hate cold callers. I don't answer witheld numbers, just do 1471/1571 after to see who it is.However, babies need to get used to normal noise like telephones and so to me thats irrelevant. Otherwise you'd have to tell everyone not to ring iyswim.
