to have noticed that there is a bit of a tendency creeping in to mn of telling people what they can and cant post about or how often to refer to themselves or bring up a situation or how to answer posts etc

Aren't there some people though who post and post and post, about the same issue over and over and never seem to take any of the advice they have asked for?

i like navel gazing posts because you get a wide range of replies from baffled to bashing

and i am distrazcting myself from proper things

nooka Mon 28-Jul-08 14:07:16

I think that you just get this every now and then.

Cappuccino Mon 28-Jul-08 14:07:35

quite a while ago I namechanged to ask something of an intimate nature

a regular poster told me in a chewing-a-wasp face that that kind of talk did not occur on this website because it was a parenting site and accused me of being a 14 year old boy

it amused me since said poster is often very sexually vocal

I am sure people make stuff up on Style & Beauty about what they have purchased i.e. wishful thinking. But they are happy so bless em.

LOL @ wasp chewing kind of face, Cappucino.

There are one or two MNers I always think of as chewing wasps whenever I see their posts.

WinkyWinkola Mon 28-Jul-08 14:19:34

Oh my god. Can you imagine being stung by a wasp in your mouth or throat? Horrible big yellow buzzy things. Brrrrr.

Oblomov Mon 28-Jul-08 14:29:40

I have seen a few threads recently, one on naughty step, wasn't it ? where someone said, you can't post that.
Don't see it that much. Is it more prevalent than I think then Zippi ?
