All you have to do is plug 3 cables or a scart in, plug the sensor bar into the back of the wii and your off. Oh and put batteries in the wii motes and balance board.
Do it youself, they only want the first go else

All you do is plug it into the Wii! Hardly difficult although I would say he is being highly unreasonable not to have ran home! Why don't you put him on a leash then he can't go out and must be at your beck and call

Twiglett, I'm horrified.
Of all people I'd have expected you to be able to plug in a few wires!

(In fact I'd have expected you to be the one that does all the man stuff at home...)

I'm so jealous. I really want a wii fit

Twig fFGS, it's the 21st century! You don't seriously need a MAN to plug a few wires in - get on with it woman... our mothers didn't burn their bras back in the 60's just for you to be defeated but mere technology?

I'm very by the way, where did you get it from?

Report
Squirdle · 25/07/2008 12:33

Do you not have a 14 yr old son to do it for you? That's who I ask

Grab a teen off the street. tell him you'll pay him with Mars Bars if he plugs in the Wii!

Where there's a will, there's a way!

Report
VanillaPumpkin · 25/07/2008 12:35

Where did you find a Wii Fit!!!!!

Report
Squirdle · 25/07/2008 12:36

Ours fits just under the TV, Vanilla (well it would if we had one...a wii that is, not a TV...wouldn't be much point in having a wii if we had no TV I guess!)

Report
VanillaPumpkin · 25/07/2008 12:40

No but seriously, will anyone have any ever in stock again before Christmas???
(I don't have the Wii yet either, but I am planning ahead )

FGS woman get a grip.

how hard can it be?

just do it

Report
Oblomov · 25/07/2008 12:44

FGS Twig, get on with it yourself.

Report
Twiglett · 25/07/2008 12:46

look I can change a plug and do rudimentary plumbing and I'm the main driver and the car is mine and I do all the maintenance. I sort out all the jobs in the house.

But I'm married to an IT nerd and there is a lot of stuff already plugged in and around the tv .. so much that we had to pay a bloke to come and set it up so that the video, sky, dvd boxes all worked via the scarts

I love the way everyone is saying FGS Twig do it yourself, I do wonder if any old poster would've got the same reply

Game has packages of Consoles and Wii Fits for normal prices .. we didn't have a Wii so it's probably easier

I've been a-hankering after one for a while I must say

and the stock-checker just popped up with stock ..

Are you like me, i.e. not allowed to touch anything electronical as I will break it?

Report
Squirdle · 25/07/2008 12:54

Hmm, I do have to agree with Twig there. Dh is also Mr Technical Genius and we also have many wires and plugs behind our TV. Hence the reason I get DS1 to sort it for me.

Report
Oblomov · 25/07/2008 12:59

O.k. I take it back.
Our tv is like the genuis krypton factor.
It has one of those close down things , so its not on standby.
All sky, wii, jukebox, everything go into that. I think.
I am not allowed to/don't even want to touch anything.
