You're kidding me. You need to ask? Tell him to sod off, do it now!

How often does he do this?

Ask him if he's got that Bone Disease thats going round.

When he says "what bone disease?", say "Bone Idleness".

Or yes, do what Idontbelieveit suggests and make mine a G&T while you're there!

I could understand that jammi, but it is the fact that her dh "told" her rather than had a reasonable conversation about it, also he seems insistent keen that she and the baby will be quiet throughout.

If he had approached it differently - perhaps accepted there may be some baby noise for a start, and maybe offered to give her some time another night, that is more how it should be.

At the very least he should do all the getting ready for bed, as well as asking what else he can do to help before his programme comes on. He is being a bit childish IMO.

My dh has has put our dd to bed about 3 times since she was a newborn. She is 17 months.
I am currently 34 weeks and wondering if he will do it when baby is here.
He does work shifts so it is easiier for me to do it, but still once in a while wouldnt hurt especially as Im knackered.
