Why are either of you bothered?
DP&I do things differently but we don't discuss it, we just get on and do it.

My MIL is exactly the same: there is only one way of doing anything and that is the way she does it, otherwise it is WRONG. Call him an old woman. Tell him that only people with below average IQs cannot cope with different POVs and methods.
