RAIN

FFS it is JULY!!!!! So, please, who ever it is that controls the weather, would you stop picking your nose and sort it out.

I have had a duvet cover in the washing machine for a week,i have rewashed the thing twice, now i am going to have to give up and put the heating on to dry the sodding thing. My washing mountain is like Everest.

and AND i promised DD a trip to the soft play today, in fact i have to go there because i need to pay some money for her b/day party. That is a train and long walk away.............DD loathes her rain cover and screams the whole time.

bloody sodding pissed off

and my TV has broken so normally when i would commit the cardinal mumsnet sin and let her watch Cbeebies for an hour while i do some housework mumsnet she is bored, whining and wanting to "help".

If i don't post again for a while, it will be because all my fingers are broken having been finally got by the worlds most malevolent clothes horse that snaps shut on my fingers at every opportunity.

I feel your pain LEM! I feel your pain.

Same here. I just put a load out in the sunshine and it started raining 2 mins later. I have all the uniforms to wash and we're going camping (ha!) this weekend so not much time to do it.

Its sunny here at the moment (Lincoln), but its sure to rain by lunchtime, like every day this week

We only get fragments of summer in the UK really.

I'm booking a week in Egypt... I looked on a weather website and it said 'precipitation not applicable'

it wont last pesto - i had literally opened the washing machine door in bright sunshine and by the time i got the stuff out it was pissing down - grrrrrrrrrr

Its times like this i wished i let DP persuade me to buy a tumble dryer when ours broke. But if i had one i would use it all the time and that would be bad for the environment, so you would think the environment gods would look down kindly upon me and think, well, shes trying.....let it sun when she has done her washing, but no they are too busy rolling about laughing at Gordon Brown's banquet fiasco to worry about the little people.............I'm tempted to turn all my lights on, the hoover on AND the iron and go out in the rain and laugh like a banshee

I am in exactly the same boat. Our tumble drier died a few months back and I didn't fix it because I wanted to try to manage without.

Even with the heating on there enough room to drape all the wet stuff.

I do like a thread with cocksucking in the title

it's only 3 degrees warmer in London than it is here in Perth and we are in deepest midwinter. The Fragrant Boys have had to spend a day indoors (School hols) and are most perplexed and discombobulated.
