.............cos I am bored of it now!!!

I have felt drained and tired now for over a week, no 'oomph', no 'spark', just bored and tired.

so..I reckon all this is completely unreasonable......do you agree???

could it be the lack of sunshine. Why don't you try a sunbed, an exercise session and a course of multi-vitamins.

you are quite right....I have lasped with my multi vits and could probably also benefit from some St.Johns wort too!

I take them feel bright, and then laspe, and then forget entirely until I fell like this and someone tells me to again.

still unreasonable tho

Strip off, down to your bra and knickers, go outside and run around in the rain, jump in all the puddles, and spalsh in the mud

You will feel better then

shoshe.....I am not at all sure that the neighbours would appreciate me doing that...

altho, they would probably not notice seeing as a few years back, during a HUGE thunderstorm, at about 10pm, I suddenly remembered the open sunroof in the car......now, it was hot and humid and I was naked, and still ran out to close up said car!.

oooooh........the memory still makes me shudder, and yet, no comments from the neighbours, so I either terrified them, or I am not overly memorable.

shatteredmum.....yup.....utterly pissed off with the world!

now in bed tho

I feel your pain.

DS aged 2 has recently started waking up every hour on the hour, from 12 - 5. I have posted in Behaviour about it hoping for some help and the only person who responded has the same problem as well. ( Rookiemater subtly tries to elicit some more interest and responses to her original thread)

At least DH has had the decency to leave the living room to play his Civilization game in the study. It's so bad we are back to separate bedrooms again to get some sleep.

I've had a shitty virus for a week, 5 days of a temperature over 100 and headache and backache for nearly a week now. The tiredness is killing me. I feel your pain too

on the upside..... I've lost nearly a stone in three weeks from a combination of extreme busy-ness and being ill. Rock on!

This weather sucks, I felt like I had cabin fever at the weekend, it wasn't worth going anywhere as you get soaked and have to contend with hoardes of kids wherever you go! A little wine now and again takes the "edge" off the day I find, you then fall asleep without lying there fretting whether a) ds/dd is going to wake up, b) running through what you are going to cook everyone the next day or c) what mundane domestic chores need attending to! What about a girls night away from the kids, maybe you need some "me" time?

Shoshe yes DD1 is Keeva. Gaelic name meaning loveliness. Thankyou for the compliment and yes she is lovely, most of the time.

well......slept funny (kept waking almost hourly, and not because of the children either), so woke with a headache....again..

still, just been invited for coffee around a friend's house in a hour, so that cheered me a bit, plus we go away in just over a week too, so that is to be packed and planned for (but the packing I enjoy as t'is for good reason)..

'me-time' much much needed......not sure when, but tis good to aks DH about. he is off for a night in august (as of a phonecall last night!), so I am okay to ask.....wooohooo.

as long as the tiredness holds off today and the sun comes out for more than a teasing peek, then I should feel a little better.

If you find any of that mysterious Ooomph, please post a little of it as I could do with some too!
House a tip, youngest still in jammies, work to be done, housework to be done, shopping to get, blah de blah and here I am with a cold cuppa, trawling the net for anything other than physical work!
I feel your pain too

psych, I have started walking at 5.45 in the morning, you would think it would make me more tired, but no I feel sooooooo much better, I couldnt do it in the ebvening to knackered and the girl I go go with has kids, so we go before her DH goes to work, only 30 mins a bout mile and a half at a fast walk, gets us fit, gives us some me time and puts my head together.

Report
keevamum · 10/07/2008 12:34

I am going to try that at 7 for half an hour too. If I leave it till my DH gets in I am too knackered and agree with you it does give you more energy rather than less!

Report
Psychomum5 · 10/07/2008 13:04

hoshe....seriously....you get up that early??

I am not sure I would be so disciplined as to get up that early......my bed is my haven, and snuggly too!!!

altho, the thought of doing it to get my head started in the morning feels nice....

I have Chronic Sllep disorder psycho, so its not hard for me to be up, sleep is bad anyway, and rather than sit in front of the tv trying to feel human, the going out walking helps.

But to be honest I have always been a early riser, I have never slept in passed 8 even as a teenager, my Mom reckoned I was freaky
